Fashion
Why do this website have a fashion section? I promise this section is not pretentious or high minded. This is really more of a basics for work dress with some helpful suggestions on where to start looking. Fashion is a weird thing, it is deeply personal but also kind of annoying. So I hope this page helps you find whatever you are looking for too fit your style.
Your personal style is something you must take into consideration when transitioning out of the military. Because civilians do not have military uniforms they often use dress as a way to distinguish themselves in lifestyle, class, industry, attitude etc. How you dress can say a lot about you, without ever even opening your mouth.
Fashion is obviously very personal. So please don’t shoot the messenger, but my advice to most people who want to go into business is that you need to find a style of dress that makes you feel comfortable and confident at the same time. So ditch the vetbro apparel and basically just dress like a person who you would feel comfortable working with and taking advice from.

The Interview Starter Pack
Generally my advice for interviews is to wear a charcoal or navy suit. Especially when you are interviewing for MBA programs or your first job out of the Army. Click the link below to transfer the knowledge of interview dress from my brain to yours.
The Business Casual Starter Pack
Most office environments have become pretty casual with dress. It’s pretty rare to see corporate workers in suits, even at the executive level. Goldman Sachs and other elite firms have basically shelved their dress code. This change at the top has trickled down to other industries and firms. Business casual takes a lot of forms and is often dependent on office environment. I generally describe business casual as how JFK would dress when he wasn’t wearing a suit. In other words, looking fucking fly as hell.
